IoT Engineer
Region Mechelen – Full time – Junior/Medior
Are you a hands-on IoT Engineer with a passion for vehicle technology, video telematics and data processing? Do you have experience with electronics in vehicles and a keen eye for detail? In this role you are responsible for developing and maintaining IoT solutions that collect and visualize data from vehicles. In addition to technical skills, you are organized, accurate and committed to customer satisfaction – essential for delivering the highest quality solutions and service.
Function
- Developing and implementing IoT solutions for data collection, processing and analysis from vehicles.
- Using PowerBI to develop accurate, accessible dashboards and reports.
- Carrying out careful administration of data processing, system maintenance and customer adjustments.
- Integrate and maintain video telematics solutions for detailed insights, including video and data streams.
- Working with vehicle electronics and sensors to accurately monitor driving behavior and status of vehicles.
- Developing and optimizing Python scripts for data analysis and system integration.
- Actively contribute to customer satisfaction through proper maintenance, accurate updates, and rapid problem resolution.
- Ensuring quality and attention to detail in every step, from development to delivery of solutions.
Your skills
- At least a completed education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Experience with PowerBI and data visualization, with an eye for details and accurate administration.
- Solid knowledge of data processing and analysis.
- Experience with telematics and IoT protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, or CAN bus.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle electronics; you are familiar with sensors, circuits and systems in vehicles.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis and scripting.
- Administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills to convert technical information into clear, customer-oriented insights.
